As part of our mission to promote honest writing and reporting, and provide a platform for discussion around the prizes, The Orwell Foundation is collaborating with some of the best local bookshops across the country to host a series of longlist conversations: booking is now available direct with the bookshops (links below) for these unique online events.
The 2021 Orwell Prize longlist conversations bring together authors and journalists from across the four lists, from fiction, to non-fiction and journalism. Each discussion is prompted by a single one-word theme which the guests have engaged with in their nominated work.
