Becoming a Patron

The Orwell Foundation is the official charity promoting the work and values of George Orwell (1903-1950). We are immensely grateful to our Founding Patron and longstanding benefactor Richard Blair, George Orwell’s adopted son.

To support our goals and extend our work, we are building a community of supporters in the UK and internationally. By becoming a Patron, you can help to ensure that the future of our essential work, and therefore the legacy of George Orwell, lives on.

Though the Orwell Foundation is based in the United Kingdom, George Orwell’s legacy is global. Become a UK Patron now or significantly contribute to our global impact by becoming an International Patron.
