Noel Titheradge is a BBC Investigations Correspondent working across news, Panorama and podcasts. A journalist for 15 years, he exposes corruption, institutional failings and social injustice. His investigations into OnlyFans and abuse in children’s social care have previously been finalists for the Orwell Prize, and his reporting has driven real-world change – from bans on unregulated children’s homes and new legal safeguards in special schools, to strengthened warnings about drug side effects. He collaborates closely with whistleblowers and vulnerable contributors, and has also worked as an executive producer.
His shortlisted pieces were:
- My husband stole £600k for sex and antiques’ – drug side effects tearing families apart
- Shadow World: Impulsive
- Prescription Drug Side Effects Causing Financial Ruin Are A “National Scandal”
- Drug warnings review after some patients ‘misled’ over impulsive behaviour side effects
Noel expertly weaves first-hand accounts of the devastating consequences of medical side effects with sharp investigation into the greed of big pharmaceutical companies – a really compelling story.
